Child Hope Foundation is a non-profit organization carrying out wildlife conservation and community development work in Tanzania. Our vision is a world in which people and wildlife live together sustainably, forever
Our mission is to contribute to the conservation of the Serengeti ecosystem, its natural landscape, and its wildlife. To do this we partner with local communities and other stakeholders to build capacity and thereby help them to realize their development aspirations. We believe that by doing this we can help to create a world in which people and wildlife live together, sustainably, forever.
CHF has also worked with communities around protected areas to address other challenges between wildlife and humans around these areas such as problem animals and human-wildlife conflicts among others. Wildlife benefit sharing programs are intended to contribute towards achieving the government’s aim of poverty eradication and improved community livelihoods.
By meeting the needs of the whole child, our programs give students the tools they need to build their best lives and positively impact their families, communities and country.
