30 km east of Moshi, this crater lake fed from Mount Kilimanjaro is truly an off the beaten track. The views of the surrounding area and the shores of the lake provide a magnificent picnic site. The Chala Hill walk is best done in the early morning.
Lake Chala is an ancient volcanic crater that is now a beautiful lake surrounded by 70-foot walls. This place is a hidden gem! The trip can be as active or as relaxing as you want. You can choose to hike around the rim – going all the way around the lake takes around 4 hours. You will see birds searching for prey and monkeys swinging in the trees. It is a once-in-a-lifetime experience
The tour takes you to the fascinating warm spring in the village with amazing clear blue water that bubble up from the ground. This place is an oasis in semi desert area. It is small pool that is 9 meters deep in beautiful surroundings covered by big trees with surprising roots of the fig trees. visitor will have a chance to swimming against strong flow of water in spring, camping overnight and having a local food prepared by our local mamas.
This is a full day trip and will take around 6-8 hours and will include lunch. On this excursion, you will spend a day swimming, sunbathing, and relaxing among palm trees. There is even a rope for you to swing on before jumping into the crystal-clear springs! Make sure to keep your eyes open for small fish that will nibble at your feet

Materuni is one of the few villages of wonder in Northern Tanzania sitting at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro. The village is blessed with full of all the beauty worth much visiting for holiday, week-end outing or vacation. While in the village, scenic view of Moshi Town and Mount Kilimanjaro is astonishing. This green village with fresh air from green vegetations welcomes visitors to explore the beauty of the land and cultural heritage of the Chagga people.
Coffee was one of the major exports of Tanzania, whilst this has lessened, coffee growing is still widespread across the region. You will travel between 10-25kms from Honey Badger and the trip will provide you with the opportunity to meet with local coffee growers, learn about the history whilst experiencing the process involved in making your own cup of coffee, i.e. the picking, roasting and grinding of the beans. This is a full day trip and will take around 8 hours and will include lunch.
A Day Tours to Mt Kilimanjaro is a one-day Trekking to the first camp from the Entrance Gate or Staring point with your Trekking Guide. This can be done at Machame Gate , Mararngu Gate or Lemosho Gate. But mostly we recommend doing it at Marangu Gate as there is a nice view from the Starting point and you can visit one of the Water falls near the Gate.
After formalities at the park entrance, you enter the rain forest for a gentle walk through verdant scenery to Mandara Hut, you can walk via the Marangu route up to Mandara Hut, which is 2,700 metres above sea level where there is a small crater. The trip will take around 6-8 Hrs.

Here, you’ll join in with the cooking preparations and learn how to make to local specialities, such as green banana stew (over a traditional wood fire), chapati (traditional bread), pilau (spiced rice), etc. Don’t expect any gadgets or worktops, but do expect an authentic cooking experience and some great tasting food.
This is a nature forest hike to the Rau forest reserve which is one of the attraction found in the Moshi lowland.
The reserves is an underground water forest which is well known for its important catchment values as it host not only a numbers of Natural spring but also some valuable tree species and animal species especially two species of moneys namely black and white colubus monkeys (Collubus Guezzera) and blue monkeys.
