Serengeti kindergarten school

Serengeti

This project is focused on guaranteeing free quality primary scholarship with the necessary infrastructure and equipment, as well as covering basic needs in school, food, health and hygiene.

The project foresees that each boy and girl who starts school has a place to complete their primary education and that each year a new class of preschool is integrated with twenty-five new additions..

For families in rural areas and with an average of 6 kids it is impossible to enroll all kids in school. Although the government is making huge improvements in education they still cannot afford the uniform, food and other fees required. On top of this, the language barrier, Swahili in primary and English in secondary, is a huge challenge for children in remote and rural areas.
